For those without 4K TVs to bump up the resolution, it’s typically the go-to visual option and standard – so much so that some players simply can’t play games in 30FPS anymore. Most players are accustomed to having the option of playing in 60FPS Performance mode in most modern games. It sounds like PC players won’t have to worry about capping the game at 30FPS but this isn’t great news for console players who were hoping to experience it on Xbox in a much smoother state. It’s also unclear exactly why Arkane couldn’t implement a Performance mode for Redfall either, though some speculate that it might have to do with time constraints in development. The mode will be added via an update at a later date, so Xbox players will only have Quality mode for the game once it releases. Developer Arkane Studios has announced that the Xbox Series X/S versions of its upcoming action game, Redfall, will not have a 60FPS Performance mode at launch. ![]()
